Christina Cultural Arts Center Inc. and Premiere Sponsor AARP welcome Philadelphia's esteemed Eleone Dance Theatre to Wilmington to present the holiday dance musical, "Carols in Color." The one-night-only performance at 4:00pm on Sunday, December 10, will be held at The Grand Opera House, 818 N. Market Street in downtown Wilmington.
"Carols in Color" is a holiday dance musical that retells the story of Christ's birth according to the gospel of St. Matthew through contemporary music, exuberant dance and powerful narration. It features some of Philadelphia's premiere vocalists paired with the soul-stirring movements of Eleone Dance Theatre and Eleone Connection of Philadelphia.
A meet-the-artists reception, also sponsored by AARP, will follow the performance and will be held at Christina Cultural Arts Center, 705 N. Market Street in Wilmington. The performance is additionally supported by sponsorship from Chase, WSFS, United Way of Delaware's Revive the Village and the Black Heritage Education & Theater Group.

The "Carols" program, now in its 26 th year, brings the entire community together to celebrate the holiday season in a moving performance that melds music, theater and dance. "It is one of the truly distinctive holiday performances you can experience in this region," Avery says.
