Volunteer Spotlight: Debbie Clark

Debbie Clark has been a dedicated AARP volunteer for more than ten years. She has been a fantastic team member, helping with everything from events management to advocacy.

Debbie began helping out at AARP events. Her friendly demeanor has been valuable at events. When Debbie asks someone to do something, it’s often difficult to say no. After getting her feet wet and learning about the AARP vision, she readily jumped in to help lower Rx drug prices by sharing her story.

Debbie and her dad were caregivers for her mother. She had much to say about the price of the many medications her mother needed. She was very open about sharing the challenges that come with caregiving and helping a loved one pay for the medicines they need.

Debbie is a shining star who believes in the AARP mission. She also enjoys the fun and social connectedness that comes with volunteering. We appreciate her lifetime of skills and experience.
