Vote Early, Vote Safe

This is a big election year, and we know our members vote! That’s why we’re so glad that Governor Carney and Elections Commissioner Albence have made it easier for you to vote absentee this year, so you can avoid the risk of getting sick.

The Delaware Department of Elections will mail out absentee ballot applications to all eligible primary voters, Democrats and Republicans! When you receive your application, be sure to check that you need a ballot for all 2020 elections.

Requesting an absentee ballot so you can vote by mail makes it easier to vote this year while staying safely at home, and observing social distancing. A limited number of polling places will be open for the presidential primary election on July 7.

Don’t forget—if you’re not registered to vote, you’ll need to do that first.

You can find all the information you need to REGISTER, to REQUEST and absentee ballot, AND to find a polling place near you by going to iVote.de.gov

So, exercise your right to vote in the 2020 elections, and stay healthy and safe!
