Fast, Healthy & Ono Trip Around the World Concludes with Asian Foods and Classic Sauces

AARP Hawai`i’s online trip around the world cooking series concludes in May with East, Southeast and South Asian recipes and classic French sauces.

Windward Community College and `Uala Leaf Café Chef Dan Swift will teach viewers how to make Korean meat jun, Thai red curry and Indian chicken tikka masala. May’s webinars conclude with three classic French sauces – bechamel, tomato and velouté.

The Fast, Healthy and Ono webinars will take a break for a few weeks during the summer after May. Remaining webinars in April feature Mediterranean-style mahi mahi with wilted greens and mushrooms on April 21 and Air Fryer Falafel on April 28.

The webinars start at 5 p.m. and last 45 minutes to one hour. Webinars in May are as follows:

May 12: Thai Red Curry with Vegetables
May 19: Indian Chicken Tikka Masala
May 26: Three Foundation Sauces
