Be prepared for hurricane season by learning what you need to know before a disaster strikes at a free AARP Hawai`i and the American Red Cross Pacific Region on Thursday, May 20 at 10 a.m.
Diane Peters-Nguyen, the regional chief executive officer of the American Red Cross in Hawai`i and John Blalock, the Pacific region disaster preparedness manager, will talk about creating a disaster plan and emergency kit and explain what you need to know to be Red Cross ready if you have to evacuate during a hurricane or other disaster.
