Don’t just stand on the sidelines at your next bon dance this summer.
Get some exercise and join the fun by learning basic bon dance steps and movements at a free AARP Hawai`i virtual bon dance class on May 23rd at 10 a.m.
Register for a Zoom link to the class by going to the AARP Hawai`i website at aarp.org/hi or the AARP Hawai`i Facebook page and clicking on the Upcoming Events tab to see and register for all the events AARP offers. You can also register by phone at 877-926-8300.
The virtual class will also explain the history and cultural significance of the Obon season and bon dancing.
