Learn recipes for locally-grown and sustainable foods at AARP Hawai`i’s popular Fast, Healthy and Ono cooking webinars with Windward Community College and `Uala Leaf Café Chef Daniel Swift.
Swift will demonstrate farm to table dishes with `uala (sweet potato), ‘ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), avocado, papaya, lemongrass, ‘olena (turmeric) and kabocha on Thursdays at 5 p.m. starting Sept. 16.

Those who register will be emailed the recipe of the dish being cooked ahead of time so you can cook along with the chef. You can also watch the webinar as a Facebook Live simulcast on the AARP Hawai`i Facebook page.
Participants are invited to stay on for 15 minutes following the program to learn more about how to grow, harvest and buy the locally-grown food.
