Seeking Voices on Caregiving

As it advocates for a paid family-leave bill, AARP Hawai‘i is looking for personal stories about the challenges unpaid caregivers face.

AARP will push the measure when the Legislature convenes in January. Real-life stories — shared with lawmakers in person or in writing, on social media, and in testimony — can underscore the financial hardships and complications for people who often must quit jobs to care for loved ones.
