FIGHTING FOR YOU

Support at home and in your community
Many family caregivers in Hawai’i have loved ones who rely on home and co
mmunity services such as:
• In-home care
• Adult day care
• Assistance with daily care, like eating, bathing, and dressing
• Transportation
Without these critical programs, Hawai’i family caregivers would face an even bigger burden. That’s why AARP Hawai’i has spent this year working with state legislators and the Governor to protect these critical services for the older residents who need them most.
