We know you’re out there, and this is the final chance to let us know! AARP Illinois and Crain’s Chicago Business teamed up to present our first 50@50+ Illinois.

We want to commemorate Illinoisans 50+ for their accomplishments and contributions to their community.

These nominees are trailblazers and role models for the next generation. They believe in making a difference.

They don’t adhere to the norm that you have to be under forty to “live a little” and make a difference. They’re following their dreams and not letting age limit them to what they can do.

The AARP 50@50+ covers five different categories of nominations:

  • Nonprofit work
  • Arts & Culture
  • Community Building,
  • Business
  • Disruptors.

Each category was picked and curated to cover all Illinoisans challenging the 50+ stereotype.

Nominations are now closed. A seven-member selection committee comprised of AARP Illinois staff and volunteers will select ten honorees in each of the five categories

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Legal residents of Illinois, 50 years and older. Ends 7/31/2017. See the Official Rules for complete eligibility requirements, odds, and prize descriptions. Void where prohibited. Sponsor: AARP.
