Fare-Free Rides on Election Day

Riders on Bus .png

Continuing the efforts to ensure that transportation issues do not prohibit residents from being able to vote in this year’s election, AARP Indiana is sponsoring fare-free rides on the public transit systems in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Gary, and Evansville on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The fare-free rides will be available all day. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.

Go to aarp.org/invotes for additional voting details, such as acceptable forms of photo identification and how to vote in person before Election Day.
