AARP Indiana is celebrating election season by partnering with the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science and offering discounted tickets to a new exhibit that any political buff would adore.

The exhibit, From the Hand of the President, features a variety of one-of-a-kind documents signed by those who have who served in the highest elected office of the United States. All items are on loan to the museum from the collection of David F. Brown, a Hoosier collector from Vincennes, IN.

“With an election in November, it’s worthwhile to reflect on our nation’s history,” Addison Pollock, AARP Indiana director of community engagement, said. “Every election, Hoosiers get an opportunity to make their voices heard, and this compelling exhibit is a window into the politics of our past.”

From the Hand of the President complements AARP Indiana’s nonpartisan voter engagement campaign designed to promote civic involvement and getting out the vote in communities across the state. You can learn more about how you can vote in Indiana’s 2022 midterm election here: https://states.aarp.org/indiana/election-voting-guide.

The discount for the exhibit offers AARP members and guests a discount for $3 off museum admission, regularly priced at $12 (25% off).

AARP Members and their guests can access the discount by:

  • Mentioning the discount at the museum’s will call ticket desk
