February is Black History Month, and we have a number of events planned to honor and acknowledge the contributions and accomplishments of African Americans. We'd love for you to join us at one of these FREE events.
National WWII Museum Black History Month Programming Sponsored by AARP Louisiana
AARP Louisiana has partnered with the National WWII Museum to highlight stories of service during Black History Month. The Museum’s virtual and in-person programs are sponsored by AARP Louisiana and will feature discussions and a film screening on African American wartime contributions by leading scholars, historians, and educators. Virtual programs will be broadcast live and also available for on-demand viewing on the Museum’s YouTube channel. See details below.
