Back by Popular Demand – Free Shredding Returns This November!

Protect yourself from fraud this holiday season at AARP Louisiana’s second round of free shred events in Baton Rouge and Shreveport! Join us and safely dispose of old bank statements, tax documents, and other personal papers you no longer need. Shredding confidential documents is a simple but powerful way to protect yourself from identity theft and holiday scams.

CONSUMERS ONLY—Bring up to three boxes or bags of documents to be shredded onsite by a professional shred company. Suggested items include bank statements, canceled checks, credit card junk mail, and receipts with identifying information.

Documents should be free of large binder clips; staples and paper clips don’t need to be removed. This event is FREE and open to the public, but registration is recommended.
