Telephone Town Hall Addresses COVID-19 Concerns

AARP Louisiana held a telephone town hall on Wednesday, April 1 to address the concerns of Louisianans about the COVID-19 crisis.

Guests included Dr. Benjamin Springgate with the LSU Health Science Center and LaVonda Dobbs with the Louisiana 211 Helpline. The event was moderated by Denise Bottcher, AARP Louisiana State Director.

Both Springgate and Dobbs took live questions from listeners during the hour-long call. The questions ranged from access to testing and health care to USPS mail delivery and social distancing guidelines.
