Howard County’s annual 50+ Expo will be Friday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia ( facebook.com/hococommunity). AARP Family Caregiving Ambassador Amy Goyer will speak at both events, which are free.

The Discover the Power of Aging Expo, Oct. 3 and 4, at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Lutherville-Timonium showcases the latest in information, resources, products and services.
