AARP Eye Center
Quite a testimonial from Michigan in this month's AARP Bulletin:
Last August, David Reid, 68, of Ann Arbor, Mich., experienced what seemed like reflux. He took antacids, but they didn’t help. Then the veteran of a triple bypass remembered an AARP article about surviving a heart attack and its warning about crucial mistakes: assuming indigestion, taking antacids, waiting, denying. The article also urged calling 911 instead of driving to the hospital. Reid took the advice – a good thing, as he was having a serious heart attack. “That article saved my life,” he said.
