Be Ready to Vote

Michigan’s general election Nov. 6 includes races for governor, a U.S. Senate seat, all 14 U.S. House seats, 148 state legislative seats, secretary of state and attorney general.

Mail requests for absentee ballots must be received by Saturday, Nov. 3, and ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Voters must have a photo ID or sign an affidavit attesting that they do not have one. For information about voting laws and polling places, go to mi.gov/vote.
