Detroit, Your Voice and Vote Matters

Aerial view of Detroit

Detroit, your voice matters—and your vote does, too.

Tune in on Monday, June 16th at 7:00 p.m. EST for the Detroit Mayoral Debate, broadcast live from the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center at Wayne State University.

This is your chance to hear from the candidates about where they stand on issues that matter to you.

You can tune in to WDIV Channel 4 or stream online on Local 4+.

Voters will make their preferred choice from the wide field of candidates in the August 5 primary. The top two vote-earners will move on and face off in the November 4 general election.

AARP Michigan recently commissioned EPIC-MRA to conduct a telephone survey with Detroit voters to better understand the needs and wants of voters 50 and older. You can read about the survey results here.

Are you registered to vote? Check your voter registration status on the Michigan Secretary of State website.
