AARP Michigan will host its third MI Sisters & Friends event in Detroit to lift the voices of women to influence public policy on important issues.
The event will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Roostertail, 100 Marquette Drive. Lunch will be provided.
Attendees will hear from leaders including Edna Kane Williams, AARP executive vice president and chief diversity officer, and Ethel Isaacs Williams, national president of The Links, Incorporated, a volunteer organization. Registration is required. Sign up at aarpmi.org/sisters2023.
