Third Tuesday of Each Month - Disrupt Aging Book Club. The AARP Disrupting Aging Book Club is a friendly, laid-back group allowing you comment or discuss freely, and as little or as often as you are comfortable with. If you’d like to dig into some interesting books, meet new people, stretch your brain a little and engage in interesting conversation, please join us!

Wednesday, July 10 - Emergency Preparedness. Disasters don't plan ahead, but you can. AARP Michigan's Emergency Preparedness seminar will help you identify how to plan for emergencies and disasters, what to include in your "Go-Kit", and how to prepare for unforeseen events if you're a caregiver. Be sure to register – seating is limited!

Thursday, July 11 - AARP On-Tap. Connect with other 50+ folks over a beer (or other beverage). Learn about local craft breweries, network with interesting, purposeful adults and enjoy a night out on the town with AARP on Tap. Thursday, July 18 - CarFit. CarFit is a free program designed to assist older drivers adapt to their vehicles in a way that maximizes their control of the vehicle, as well as offering the most protection in the event of a crash. Trained technicians will lead you through a 12-point checklist with your vehicle, recommending adjustments that could make your vehicle “fit” better and enhance your safety.

Thursday, July 18 - Fraud Watch Network. We’re fighting back with the AARP Fraud Watch Network. It provides resources to help you spot and avoid identity theft and fraud so you can protect yourself and your family. Come learn how to get watchdog alerts and stay up to date on con artists’ latest tricks.
