Promoting Food Access in Michigan

Given recent increases in food prices, AARP Michigan will host a series of virtual events throughout the year related to food access.

Planned events include hunters sharing venison and other game with those in need; classes on food preservation techniques such as canning and dry aging; and sessions on building and maintaining community gardens, as well as on home gardening.
