AARP is meeting with state lawmakers and business leaders to rally support for legislation to help Michiganders save for retirement.
The bill would create the Michigan Secure Retirement Savings Program for private sector workers who don’t have access to a retirement plan through their jobs. Employees would be able to contribute to an IRA via automatic payroll deduction.
