WASHINGTON, DC – In a newly released AARP-Politico poll, Florida voters age 50 and over do not feel better off financially despite a growing economy. The poll also found that Social Security and health care will be very important to 50-plus voters when they cast ballots for Congress in the mid-term elections, and they are deeply concerned about the future of Medicare.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the federal government undertakes a major initiative to issue new identification cards to the Medicare beneficiaries in Michigan and nationwide, an AARP survey finds that a majority of those enrollees are at risk of being victimized by fraud schemes designed to capitalize on the card replacement program.
AARP Michigan will host an interactive event that will examine how people age 50 and older approach life, love and dating on Friday, Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Silver Garden Events Center, 24350 Southfield Rd., Southfield.
