Mississippi legislators only have a few weeks left in the 2013 legislative session, and they have yet to expand Medicaid for hard-working Mississippians. Access to health care is on the line, especially for about 39,000 50 to 64-year-old Mississippians who cannot afford health insurance. It’s still tough out there. Thousands of Mississippians have lost their jobs or are struggling in jobs without health insurance and don’t have access to affordable health care.
