AARP Eye Center
At AARP, “real possibilities” means that you are free to explore new avenues and take advantage of opportunities regardless of age. In many cases, your age and experience can be an advantage. So, what are you waiting for?
AARP’s Life Reimagined -- recently highlighted during the International Tennis Hall of Fame Championships Week -- comes in to Rhode Island in September!
It's like a personalized guidance system. You start where you are in your life, and— through a series of fun, simple exercises—see where the possibilities lead you. The free program, called a “Checkup,” includes six practices that guide you through making a change: Reflect, Connect, Explore, Choose, Repack, and Act. It’s fun, it’s contemplative and it’s a great way to begin the process of discovering your own, personal “What’s Next?” moment or path.
For your convenience, we're offering two sessions, one after working hours and one during the day.
The Rhode Island Life Reimagined Checkups take place on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 6-8 p.m., and Friday, Sept. 5, from 9-11 a.m. Both are at the Rhode Island State Office, 10 Orms St., Suite 200, Providence. Parking is free.
RSVP by Sept. 2, but note that the sessions are limited to 25 people and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Why not sign up right now?
Register for Thursday evening / Register for Friday morning
If you're between jobs or hoping to make a career change, this is for you. And if you are approaching retirement or are semi- retired, the Checkup can help you get started on your "What's Next?" Or we can help you find it.
