AARP Rhode Island has released video highlights of a sumer 2013 "Jane's Walk" that took place in Providence's Elmwood neighborhood. Community activist and Elmwood resident Doug Victor explores the history of this great neighborhood along with many recent changes that brighten its future.
Jane's Walks, named in honor of Canadian activist Jane Jacobs, are conducted throughout the U.S. and Europe. AARP is proud to be a good neighbor when it comes to preserving neighborhoods, advocating for Complete Streets and promoting Walkable, Bikable Communities.
