"We are so excited about the opportunity to share important fraud prevention information in partnership with the Alcatraz East Crime Museum,” said Loria Hubbard, Associate State Director or Outreach for AARP Tennessee. “We will share resources to help Tennesseans fight back against scammers to protect themselves and their families.”
AARP will share tips on how to avoid becoming the victim of frauds and scams, and Forensic expert Arthur Bohannon will present, "Who are you Walking on?" - a presentation on how forensic methods have helped decipher gravestones, identify remains and solve crimes.
Described as “a must see for CSI fans,” this unique museum gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at crime history in America. The Alcatraz East Crime Museum includes interactive displays and artifacts that cover criminal intent, criminal profiles, law enforcement, forensic science and more. Guests of all ages will enjoy compelling and educational exhibits, covering a wide variety of topics, such as a CSI lab, safe cracking, simulated shooting range, DUI interactive safety training, digital fingerprinting and more. Alcatraz East is home to over 100 artifacts and exhibits, spread throughout five unique galleries, including several frequently changing temporary exhibits on the latest crime stories capturing America’s attention.
