How Livable is Your Community?

Kelly Stoddard-Poor of AARP Vermont will lead a discussion about livable communities on Wednesday, June 20. She will address current population trends and explain how efforts to make communities more livable can help more Vermonters continue to live at home as they age, rather than moving into more costly institutional care.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)—which offers a range of low-cost workshops, lectures and programs for lifelong learning at the university level—is sponsoring the event from 5:30-7 p.m., at the AARP state office, 199 Main St., in Burlington. The cost is $15 for OLLI members or $25 for nonmembers.
