AARP Vermont will host its sixth annual Day on the Lake on Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Community Sailing Center on Lake Champlain in Burlington.
Each AARP member and one guest can choose among a guided harbor tour on a 23-foot keelboat, an hour-long paddleboard lesson or your own tour in a kayak or canoe. The free event offers morning and afternoon reservations.
“We really enjoy meeting our members and treating them to an adventure on beautiful Lake Champlain that they won’t soon forget,” said Greg Marchildon, AARP state director.
