WVCap.jpg

West Virginia state lawmakers will return to Charleston in early January for the start of the 2023 regular session of the West Virginia Legislature. The 60-day session begins January 11.

AARP West Virginia staff and volunteers will keep a visible presence at the State Capitol throughout the 2023 West Virginia Legislature, advocating on issues including caregiving, long-term care and home and community based services and financial security.

As we prepare to engage with state lawmakers on the issues that matter most to West Virginians 50+, we want to know what you think. Take our 2023 Legislative Issues survey to share your opinions on the issues that matter most, and the actions you would like to see the West Virginia Legislature take in 2023. We'll share this feedback with lawmakers and leaders at the State Capitol in the weeks ahead.
