AARP West Virginia has again partnered with Charleston's Capitol Market to present "Let's Get Cooking" with Chef Paul Smith during the 2021 market season. Chef Paul Smith leads attendees through an exciting cooking demonstration in the outdoor market space at one of the Mountain State's most popular indoor-outdoor retail, dining and social hubs.

Each month, a specific theme showcases Capitol Market's small businesses and farmers, with each class featuring a unique set of recipes and tips- plus yummy samples and sips! These classes are complimentary, thanks to the support of AARP West Virginia.

If you can't attend any of the "Let's Get Cooking" demonstrations, you can watch highlights of the monthly demos on AARP West Virginia's social media channels. You can also find all the delicious recipes online at the Capitol Market website.

Charleston’s year-round Capitol Market is a vibrant part of West Virginia’s capital city. Tucked in a turn-of-the-century train station, the indoor-outdoor market offers an exciting mix of farm goodness and specialty shops. You can visit the market at 800 Smith St., Charleston, or learn more online at www.capitolmarket.net.
