Voting has already begun, and election day is less than one week away - do you have a plan to vote?

This election will include two key Statewide Constitutional Referendums and the Presidential Primary race, in addition to local school district, and city council elections. As always, it is important that you make your voice heard.

AARP has been fighting to protect the rights of all American's 50+ to vote freely, easily, and safely for more than 35 years. AARP opposes efforts designed to increase barriers to voting.

• Confirm your registration status
• Find your polling place
• See a sample ballot for your municipality
• Check key deadlines

Here is some essential information you should know before you vote:

• If you have not registered to vote, you can do so in person at your municipal clerk’s office by March 29th. Hours and availability depend on individual localities. You can also register to vote at your polling station on Election Day.
• If you plan to vote at the polls on election day, voters must show a valid photo ID to cast their ballots. 
• Polls will be open statewide from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., but you can still vote after 8 p.m. if you are in line before polls close. Use the AARP Wisconsin Voting Guide to find your polling place.
