Ensure Your Employees Have the Resources They Need to Vote Safely in 2020

Make sure you voice is heard

As a business owner, you are a trusted voice within your community and business. In advance of the 2020 election, it is important to make sure that you and your employees have all the information they need to vote and make their voices heard.

To support your efforts in encouraging your employees to vote, AARP has put together the Business Voter Engagement Toolkit, which contains actionable items and resources to help you prepare you and your employees for Election Day.

In the toolkit, you’ll find:

  • Information on voting safely in the 2020 election, including tips on how you can help your employees, details about ways to vote in the 2020 election, and reminders about deadlines for the election.
  • Sample social media posts about the importance of voting, getting registered, voting absentee, and getting ready for Election Day.
  • Sample emails, which you can send to your employees to encourage them to exercise their right to vote and provide them with important resources.

You can download the Business Voter Engagement Toolkit here.

The pandemic has made everything harder, but that doesn't mean your employees can't vote safely whether at home or in person.  You are a powerful voice to encourage your team to exercise their right to vote.
