‘Mama’s Girls’ Play Coming to Milwaukee April 27

AARP and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute are excited to bring one of the longest touring urban stage plays in America, Mama’s Girls, to the Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee on Saturday, April 27th at 3pm.

Created by award winning playwright Garrett Davis and Debra Tyler-Horton, AARP. Over the last decade, Mama's Girls has toured 23 states and over 100 performances entertaining and educating audiences on caregiving based from the information presented in the AARP Prepare to Care Guide.

Featuring a dynamic performance from a spirit-filled cast, the play addresses the struggles and hardships of caregiving, and provides information that can help those taking care of their loved ones.

Mama’s Girls takes you on an emotional journey as five sisters come together to face the reality of their mother’s declining health. This life-changing production will have you laughing, crying, and singing along.
