AARP Driver Safety is celebrating Older Americans Month by offering a $5 online course to AARP members and non-members from May 1 through May 31, 2013. The course normally costs $15.95 for AARP members and $19.95 for nonmembers.
AARP Driver Safety online course teaches:
- Defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws and rules of the road
- How to deal with aggressive drivers
- How to safely use anti-lock brakes, air bags and safety belts
- How to reduce traffic violations, crashes and chances for injury
- How to adjust for physical changes over time
- Important facts about the effects of medication on driving
- Techniques for handling left turns, right-of-way, blind spots and more
Upon completion of the course, you may be eligible to receive a discount on your auto insurance. Consult your agent for details.
