Take Charge of Your Financial Future

Learn to become motivated and empowered to take charge of your financial future in a free class that’s offered through the Milwaukee Recreation Department on several dates in April and May in two Milwaukee locations.

The class, titled “AARP Foundation Finances 50+” will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, April 23, April 30 and May 7 at Morse-Marshall High School, 4141 N. 64 th St. in Milwaukee.

It is also being offered from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 5, April 12, and April 19, at O.A.S.I.S., 2414 W. Mitchell, Milwaukee.

This class will help you make the most of the financial resources you have. The materials will cover budgeting and goal-setting, taking charge of credit and debt, developing a savings plan, and protecting your assets. Small group workshops will be led by a trained facilitator.

This free program will benefit anyone (or couples) in the $20,000 to $80,000 annual household income level. It is designed for those 50 and above.
