AARP Wisconsin is committed to empowering people to choose how they live as they age. Whether fighting for legislative advancements or offering resources and experiences that open life’s possibilities to all, we’re your ally in ensuring that each individual is able to live his or her best life.

We wouldn’t be able to deliver on this mission without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. In 2018, 72% of our events were led by volunteers in their own communities.

Thanks to our volunteers AARP WI was able to:

• Achieve legislative victories around caregiving and affordable medication,
• Help nearly 3,000 drivers be at their best through the Driver Safety suite of programs,
• Reach 400 Wisconsinites at 45 fraud prevention events,
• Assist over 67,000 Wisconsinites with filing their taxes through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program

In partnership and collaboration with our volunteers, AARP is able to positively impact the lives of Wisconsinites all across our great state through advocacy, outreach, and community service activities and we thank each and every one of our committed volunteer partners for their contributions throughout the year.
