Jasper Shred-A-Thon on Wednesday, May 6

AARP Alabama, Fox 6 WBRC, and the Chamber of Commerce of Walker County will host a FREE Shred-A-Thon on Wednesday, May 6 at the CHS Building, 204 19th Street East in Jas

per. Area residents may bring up to 3 bags OR 3 file boxes of personal documents for shredding on-site from 7 AM to 2 PM.

While the event is FREE to the public, we are asking everyone who comes to consider a donation of a nonperishable food item for the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.

Shredding trucks from Secure Destruction Service will be on-site. Please note that binders cannot be accepted, and please be sure that no household trash is included with the documents. Any kind of metal cannot be shredded.
