AARP has helped more than 19 million people 50 and older become safer, better drivers over the years.

Now you can join the effort by serving as a volunteer in AARP Alabama’s Driver Safety program. The state office is searching for a state coordinator, the highest volunteer position available. The coordinator develops program goals and the budget, supervises other volunteers and conducts meetings. Training is provided.

AARP Alabama is also seeking a volunteer state data manager to maintain volunteer records within the Driver Safety program’s database. Information technology skills are desired.
