Stop identity thieves: Shred your personal documents in Montgomery on April 10

AARP Alabama is co-sponsoring a FREE document shredding and recycling event on Friday, April 10. Montgomery-area citizens are welcome to bring up to 5 bags or boxes of documents for shredding from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM to the shredding truck in the south parking lot of Garrett Coliseum, 1555 Federal Drive in Montgomery.

Please note that this event is for personal document shredding, and not for business or large organizations to dispose of documents. While the event is FREE, we ask that you bring a nonperishable food item to benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

Shredding personal documents is an effective way to help prevent identity theft and other financial fraud.
