Tax-Aide suspended, AARP live events canceled; virtual events still on, more may be added

To follow best practices recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control about social distancing, AARP, including AARP Alaska, is canceling its in-person events until May 1.

Tax-Aide is suspended until further notice.

Events that are delivered by phone or online, such as telephone town halls and webinars, will proceed as planned.

The state office look at whether we can add more such options in coming months.
