Shakespeare returns! After falling head over heels under each other’s spell, the lovers Orlando and Rosalind are separately banished and become entangled in a beguiling game of mistaken identity when Rosalind disguises herself as a young man. AARP members and guests can purchase tickets for the 1:30 p.m. performance at the discounted price of $30. AARP members can access discounted tickets online.

Saturday, October 17, 2015  AARP Day at the Colorado Train Museum, Golden, CO

On Saturday, October 17th, AARP members receive $1 admission to the Colorado Railroad Museum.

There’s something amazing about trains. The familiar whistle has always promised adventure. The gentle rock of the rails has set the rhythm of our lives. Experience it all again at the Colorado Railroad Museum. Stroll the Museum’s 15-acre rail yard with over 100 narrow and standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, cabooses and Galloping Geese.

AARP members must present their membership cards at the admissions desk to get $1 admission. Normal admission prices apply to friends and family of AARP members.

Parking is free.

In this quirky romantic comedy, Peg, a lonely police-sketch artist, prefers the company of her many drawings of criminals to the real men in her life. But when her romance-novelist sister gives her a mysterious hand-carved pencil, her sketches come to life. This is great, except when the people you draw are criminals. This modern Pygmalion tale begs the question: does love define or defy perfection?
