AARP Colorado and Regis University invites Coloradans to honor and celebrate the contributions of veterans at a special event this Veterans Day.

Join us at Regis University’s Mountain View Room for a program that recognizes all military veterans with a spotlight on the contributions of Hispanic and Latino veterans.

The event features a showing of the documentary film “Justice for My People,” which tells the story of WWII veteran and American GI Forum founder Dr. Hector P. Garcia.

“We’re honored to collaborate with Regis University to recognize the contributions of our state’s veterans,” Dr. Marissa Volpe, director of outreach, said. “Dr. Garcia’s story illustrates the ongoing need to support the people who served and continue to serve our communities, state, and country.”
