ROAD honors Grandparents with Special Event

In honor of Grandparents Day weekend, the ROAD (Reaching Older Adult Drivers) program is holding a special event at The Grove at Stapleton, a 55+ living community. The national day observes a time to express appreciation for grandparents through kind actions. ROAD, in its mission to keep older adults in their vehicles longer and safer, will offer FREE CarFit checkups where trained technicians provide older adults hands-on experience to help them feel more comfortable, fit well in their vehicle and stay in control behind the wheel. The event, to be held on Friday, Sept. 6 from 10-Noon, will also feature a component to connect young and older generations as well as other resources for seniors surrounding transportation. The Grove is located at 2980 N. Syracuse St., Denver CO 80238. Call the ROAD at 303-991-5740 to schedule your FREE 20 minute appointment.
