AARP Hawai`i holding webinar on COVID-19 Vaccine

Kupuna who have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine can register for an AARP Hawai`i Zoom webinar with the state Department of Health on Friday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.

Christopher CJ Johnson, an outreach specialist with the Hawai`i Department of Health, will explain how the current COVID-19 vaccines work and how the state is distributing the vaccine. Participants will also have a chance to ask questions.

That’s why we held a Telephone Town Hall on Jan. 30 and why we are holding the Zoom webinar on Feb. 12,”said Keali`i Lopez, AARP Hawai`i state director. “We will be holding more webinars and telephone forums in the near future.
