Medicaid Expansion: Where We Stand

On Nov. 6, Idaho voters spoke in favor of expanding health coverage. Now it’s time for Idaho legislators to respond by fully funding and implementing Medicaid Expansion as passed by Idaho voters.

The expansion of Idaho’s health coverage program was approved by an overwhelming majority of the vote. The election was clear. We cannot continue to let hard-working families go without adequate health coverage.

It’s vital now that legislators take the action that voters approved and to not add layers of bureaucracy that could increase costs, harm retirement savings, and hurt older Idahoans who may find it harder to find a job.
