We will be meeting in the C.W. Moore building at 250 South 5th Street in the basement conference room at 8:00 a.m. This is the same building as the AARP Idaho state office. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to gather your registration materials. Red AARP vests will be provided for you to wear during the day.

Be aware that parking is limited in downtown Boise so plan accordingly. We have arranged for all day parking in the building's visitor parking lot but spaces are few. There are several parking garages downtown that can also accommodate all day parking. Round trip busing from the C.W. Moore building to the Capitol will be provided.

In the morning, you will have a choice of taking a tour of the Capitol or meeting with your legislator. While we cannot guarantee a meeting, we will make every effort to schedule one. If you select this option during registration, as a courtesy to the legislator, please make sure you attend or let us know AT LEAST 24 hours in advance if you are not going to make it.

Legislators and others will be invited to join us for an informal luncheon the first floor of the Capitol building. This is our chance to talk about our legislative priorities and our vision for property taxes, retirement savings, and caregiving from the talking points provided.

In the afternoon, you are invited to attend a House or Senate committee meeting of your choice. A bus will be available to take you back to the C.W. Moore building every half hour from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.

The event is free and lunch will be provided.
