To commemorate this milestone, AARP Idaho is inviting you, your family and friends to join us August 6 for a private evening at Zoo Boise. You’ll receive free admission to the zoo while enjoying complimentary ice cream, refreshments and shaded pavilions. Ride the carousel, feed the goats, we’ll even have face painting for the kids (or adults). It’s an entirely new way to enjoy the zoo and an evening the whole family will enjoy!

This year marks the 90th anniversary of Social Security — one of the most significant achievements in our nation’s history. For generations, Social Security has provided a foundation of financial stability for millions of Americans, including nearly 400,000 individuals and their families right here in Idaho.
This anniversary isn’t just a celebration – it’s a time for reflection and to look towards the future. Right now, Social Security is still doing what it was built to do. It’s up to us to make sure it’s there for the next 90 years--because we will never stop fighting to protect and strengthen the Social Security you’ve earned. We hope you’ll join us August 6th as we celebrate 90 years of Social Security!
