Telephone Town Hall to Discuss Living Longer and Improving Health Span

The discussion will explore the difference between health span and lifespan, the factors that accelerate aging, the interconnected nature of diet, exercise, sleep and stress and end by talking about what the future holds for the science of longevity.

On August 27th at 11:00 a.m. MT, AARP Idaho will host University of Idaho Associate Professor Emeritus of Nutrition and Dietetics SeAnne Wait for a one hour telephone town hall to discuss living longer and how to increase health span.

SeAnne Wait is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Idaho and teaches as an adjunct professor at the University Missouri. She is also a registered dietician and has worked extensively in the areas of child nutrition, diabetes, Alzheimer’s Disease and healthy aging. She has also served on various state and national leadership committees as well as authoring numerous research journals, several books and textbook chapters. She is recognized nationally as an expert in nutrition and dietetics.
